AW and I went to dinner at one of our favorites, Hapa Sushi. When we got home, we were showing each other ideas for our weddings on Pinterest and all of a sudden I said... "Wait. We should get bridal magazines and have wine and chocolate." Two minutes later, we were in the car on the way to Target. We had an absolute ball... Pouring over ideas and sipping wine with Bridesmaids playing in the background.
It's so fun to share this special time with my best friend... Plus, she's getting married sooner so she can give me a few pointers. Trust me, in the coming months I will be posting and asking for lots of advice from you too!!
On Saturday AW and I met a new friend for coffee and shopping. We were too much alike... We camped out at the beauty counters for nearly an hour and I ended up with a couple new Chanel goodies.

I spent Saturday afternoon mostly half-naked in dressing rooms... Trying on bridesmaid dresses for AW's wedding. We found a couple we thought were perfect!! Do any of you have suggestions for bridesmaid dresses?? Any favorite brands or shops??

I did not want AW to leave this weekend... Her being here reminded me so much of our law school days and how much fun we had together. Watching our favorite TV shows, running out for Target trips and shopping, getting dolled up and going out together. Only now we have some gorgeous bling to stare at while we're together :)
Oh, and as for Sunday?? I spent the entire day pinning while I began watching all the old episodes of The Vampire Diaries... Total. Waste. Of. Space. I keep hearing about how awesome The Originals and the new season of TVD are... But I didn't keep up on the latest seasons, so I've decided to start over and refresh before I watch them. Ridiculous, I know. Me and my addicting TV shows.

I did get a few texts about Lauren Conrad's engagement announcement on Sunday... Her ring looks identical to mine. For so many years the trend has been white gold or platinum settings with lots of bling around the main(s) stones. I wanted yellow gold because it flatters my skin tone and I thought the solitaire design was more classic and timeless... But... Do you think the yellow gold solitaire could be becoming a trend?? Hmmm...
