Orlando Vacay - Part 1

J surprised me with a vacation to Orlando Florida for our one year anniversary.  He knew I had been dying to go to Harry Potter World for over a year now, so that's where our trip started.  I was so excited we didn't even waste any time going to the hotel first... We packed our bags in the rental car trunk and went straight to Universal Studios!!

It was incredible.  Everything I wanted and more!!  I didn't even care about seeing the other parts of the park... I think I could have just walked around Harry Potter World all day. 

I started reading the Harry Potter books when they first came out in England, I went to almost every midnight release in the U.S. and I went to almost every midnight premiere of the movies.  I feel like I grew up with Harry Potter, and to feel like I was standing there in his magical world was so emotional and unexplainable.  I cried a little when I was on the ride inside Hogwarts... I was so happy I was there!!  I realize this might make me a total nerd, but I don't care.  Seven books, eight movies later... I deserve to be a nerd.  :)



We were so tired from the flight and all the roller coasters at Universal Studios, so J and I didn't want to venture too far for dinner.  We ate at a little Italian restaurant in our hotel.  After dinner, we spent a little time visiting J's mom, sister, and nephew who were staying in the same hotel... We were laughing and talking and excited to see each other and finally a neighbor came and pounded on their door to PIPE DOWN IN THERE!!!  We felt badly and J and I went back to our room, but... The grumpy man had to be crazy if he thought he would get a good night's sleep in a hotel full of children!!
