Whirlwind Trip... Colorado!!

After my cousin and his friends left with my mom last Saturday, I finished packing for a short trip to Colorado with my boyfriend.  It was such a whirlwind... I still felt so exhausted from prepping and throwing my cousin's birthday party!!

But once we got in J's cute vintage car and we headed out to CO, I was calm.  I was looking forward to spending some time with him before the mad rush of graduation weekend started... And a little road trip together provided the perfect opportunity.  

Our main goal was to find somewhere for J to live next year while he gets his legal specialization and works.  It proved to be more difficult than we thought... But we did it!!  It was such a relief for both of us, and after he signed those papers we were able to relax and enjoy our little mini-trip.  

 In the mountains... The environment reminds me so much of South Dakota!!

We stayed at J's parents' place and had the luck of being there at the same time they were!!  J has a wonderful family, and I truly enjoyed getting to spend time with them and chat!!  

Although they were few and far between, J and I were able to find some times to relax, unwind, and enjoy our time together.  We went to the Cherry Creek Mall in Denver with J's mom... J drove me up into the mountains... We celebrated J finding a place to live with lunch and day drinks... And we walked Pearl Street on Tuesday afternoon.  

AB watched my doggies for me... And when I got home they seemed so much more happy than usual!!  They loved staying with one of their favorites  :)

P.S.  Today I'm graduating from law school!!  I can't wait to tell you all about it!!!
