Easter Break in Arizona...

**Finally!!  I have my camera now, so I could upload the rest of these photos!!  I wrote the post right after I got back  :) 

I couldn't wait to escape for a few days and get to Arizona with my parents.  My studying and reading has been piling up, and the growing tension inside the law school is a reminder of how close finals are.  The heat, sunshine, and laid-back Arizona attitude was just what I needed.  Here's my Easter Break... In a nutshell...

Takes my breath away... Every time.

Thursday... 

Lunch with Mom and Dad.  Catching up.  Admiring the cactus blossoms.  Feeling the desert heat against my feet on our stone patio.  Going shopping with Mom.  Dinner at the clubhouse with Mom and Dad.  Laughing.  Hunting for sweets after dinner.  

Cactus flowers are so pretty, but they only bloom for a short time.

Friday... 

Taking a long walk with Dad.  Joining up with Mom and walking the rest of the way with her and all the puppies.  Sunshine.  Shopping with Mom for Dad's birthday.  Finding Sniffs tissue cases.  Getting dressed up.  Dad's birthday dinner at the Ritz-Carlton.  Taking photos and teasing Dad.  Jalapeno cornbread muffins with chipotle butter.  Drinking champagne.  Laughing more.  Cupcakes and candles.  Birthday presents.

So your tissues don't get all messed up in your handbag!!

Saturday... 

Sleeping in.  Feeling lazy.  Grocery shopping with Mom.  Lunch with Mom and Dad.  Life lessons.  Good advice.  Napping in the sun.  Painting my nails.  The Hunger Games for the third time.  Cheesy souvenir cups.  Smiling.  Popcorn.  Moonlight glowing on cactus in the desert.

I was thrilled the movie theater had these!!

Sunday... 

Easter morning.  Happiness.  Another long walk with Dad.  Lots of sunshine.  Easter baskets.  Chocolate.  Candy.  Tiffany blue.  Mimosas.  Easter dinner.  Relaxing.  Being grateful.  Appreciation.  Celebrating Scarlett's 1st birthday.  Once Upon A Time.  Easter egg cakes.  G.C.B.  Packing.

Monday... 

One last morning walk with Dad.  Soaking up a bit more sunshine.  Business advice.  Life advice.  Messing up on my flight time.  Anxiety.  Chaos.  Southwest Customer Service.  Stress-relieving In-N-Out Burger.  Errands with Mom.  Palm trees.  Reading and homework.  Dancing With the Stars.  

Serving deliciousness...

Tuesday... 

3:15 AM alarm.  Feeling sad to leave.  Airport.  More reading.  People watching.  Feeling anxious to get home.  Missing J like crazy.  AB picking me up.  Getting Starbucks before class.  Marriage and Divorce.  Exhausted.  Missing my parents already.
