Happy Birthday, SL!!

We celebrated SL's birthday before we all left for Spring Break.  I made a reservation at a sushi restaurant... And started to think about how we could make it a bit more special for SL.  After all, a girl's 25th birthday doesn't come around very often!!  All of a sudden, it hit me... SL and I both share a love of the crazy TV show, Dance Moms.  It was the perfect theme for her birthday!!

The day before SL's birthday dinner, I whipped up a few invites... Dance Moms style.

Abby Lee graced the inside of the invites, of course.

Each of the girls was seated as a Dance Mom... No bedazzled jackets or mom jeans required. 

Our table!! The decorations and mints are from Nobby's... I had trouble finding dance-specific ones, but decided going with the typical dance colors (black and pink) was a second-best option!!
 

 It couldn't be a Dance Moms party without one of Abby's famous pyramids... I think everyone in the restaurant probably thought we were insane. 

SL didn't want the usual cake... Eileen's Cookies are her fave!!  And pink frosting ensured that they were worthy of even the pickiest Dance Mom!!

We had so much fun celebrating SL's birthday... It was a chance to get out, get dressed up, and indulge in a girls' night out.  We had some yummy drinks and delicious sushi rolls... But the best part for me was chatting with the girls and watching SL open her birthday gifts!! 

Today (Sunday) was SL's real birthday.  SL is one of the best friends I've ever had... She's always there for me and I can talk to her about anything.  She is one of the most loyal, stand-up friends I've ever had.  And I love that she tells it like it is... You always know you're getting 120% SL.  :)

So Happy Birthday, SL!!  I hope you had a wonderful day, and I'm so glad I got to pre-celebrate with you!!
